ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Shakey’s Pizza Parlor wanted to update their interior design for all of the restaurants to be more modern and closer to the new branding I had created. I worked with the Shakey’s team for placement of paint colors, tiles, custom wallpapers, brick and custom artwork.
Shakey’s Interior Layout
For each of the restaurants that we were updating I would create layout illustrations to show where paint colors, tile, wallpaper and custom artwork would be placed.
Shakey’s Historic Artwork
Taking some of the original historic artwork of Shakey’s I recreated it to have a pop art feel with the Shakey’s yellow, red and black.
Shakey’s Historic Metal Signs
Taking original signs that were created on wood I transformed them into rustic metal signs to decorate the restaurants with. Keeping the old sayings keeps the history and shows Shakey’s personality.
Shakey’s Artwork
Other custom artwork I created for the restaurant re-design was focusing on the food, Pizza & Chicken along with the famous Shakey’s Special.
